Mint
Menthol for digestion, cooling, and the freshest flavour in any blend.

Mint (Mentha spicata / Mentha piperita) is a herb with one of the most evidence-backed therapeutic profiles in herbal medicine. Menthol — its primary active compound — has TRPM8 receptor activity that creates genuine cooling, relaxes smooth muscle in the gut, and has decongestant properties.

IBS and digestive relief
MentholEnteric-coated peppermint oil is an approved treatment for IBS in multiple countries. Menthol relaxes smooth muscle in the colon, reducing spasms, bloating, and cramping.
Cooling and heat management
Menthol (TRPM8 agonist)Menthol activates TRPM8 cold receptors without lowering body temperature. This creates genuine cooling perception and makes mint-based juices particularly effective in Hyderabad summers.
Respiratory decongestant
MentholMenthol vapours relieve nasal congestion by activating cold receptors in nasal passages, making breathing feel easier. Used in aromatherapy and traditional medicine for this purpose.

A 2014 meta-analysis of 9 RCTs in the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology found peppermint oil significantly superior to placebo for IBS symptom relief (relative risk 2.25). Cold-pressed mint delivers menthol and rosmarinic acid — the latter is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory not found in mint extracts.

Mint is mentioned in ancient Greek, Roman, and Ayurvedic texts dating back 3,000 years. The genus name Mentha comes from the Greek nymph Minthe, who was transformed into the herb by Persephone. It's been used medicinally for longer than almost any other herb.
