What we get asked — the bottle, the delivery, the ingredients

01

The bottle

The bottle — section marker
Why is the shelf life so short?
Because nothing in the bottle is engineered to last longer. No pasteurization, no preservatives, no stabilizers. Cold-pressed juice peaks the moment it's pressed — drink it the day it arrives. Fermented shots hold up to 48 hours; live cultures are tougher than raw enzymes. Anything longer would mean we cooked it or added something.
What if I can't drink it in time?
Throw it out. We'd rather you waste a bottle than drink one past its window. The whole point of short shelf life is that it stops being the thing it claims to be. Adjust the plan in the app — fewer bottles, denser cadence.
What if a bottle doesn't taste right?
Tell us. WhatsApp or email, with the batch number on the label. We replace it the next morning and log the batch. No form, no argument.
Is the packaging recyclable?
Glass goes to a certified recycler we partner with — leave bottles out on your next delivery, the rider collects them. Caps are compostable. Insulated bags are reused.

02

Delivery

Delivery — section marker
What time does delivery arrive?
Between 6:30 and 7:30 AM on scheduled days. Pressed by 5:30, on route by 6:30. Exact minute depends on your spot in the route.
Which areas?
Today: Miyapur, KPHB, Madhapur, Hitech City, Manikonda, Nanakramguda, Gachibowli, Kokapet, and the corridors between. Outside that, no — short shelf life means short range. We track demand and open new routes when density makes them honest.
What if I'm not home?
Leave a note in the app or WhatsApp the night before — door mat, security desk, neighbour. Rider photographs and logs the drop. Insulated bag holds cold for 90 minutes.
Can I change the address?
Yes, in the app, up to 10 PM the night before. Permanent moves go in your profile.

03

Plans & billing

Plans & billing — section marker
Can I pause or cancel anytime?
Yes. From the app. No phone calls. No fee. Unused wallet balance is refundable to your bank on request.
How does the wallet work?
Money sits in your Soma wallet, not a contract. Every delivery debits it. Top up when you want, withdraw what's left when you leave. Nothing disappears.
Do credits expire?
No. Wallet credits don't expire. Pause for three months, balance is exactly where you left it. Promotional trial credits expire 60 days after issue — that's the only exception.
Can I skip a single day?
Yes. In the app, before 10 PM the night before. Cost rolls back to the wallet. You can skip in advance for travel.

04

Ingredients & production

Ingredients & production — section marker
Are ingredients organic or certified?
Some are certified organic. Most are from small Bowenpally vendors who use traditional, low-chemical practices but don't hold paper certification. We inspect every batch and publish source notes per ingredient. Knowing your vendor is a better standard than a piece of paper.
What does cold-pressed mean?
Hydraulic press, slow, high pressure. No heat, no blades, no oxidation spike. More enzymes and vitamins survive than in centrifugal (fast-blade) juicers. Slower process, less yield per kilo, more expensive bottle. That's the trade.
Why doesn't it taste like supermarket juice?
Supermarket juice is pasteurized — heat-treated for a six-month shelf life. That kills enzymes and brightens flavour artificially. Cold-pressed is rawer, sometimes earthy, sometimes bitter. That's the produce, unedited. Two or three mornings to adjust.

05

Health & safety

Health & safety — section marker
Can children drink it?
Yes, in smaller doses. 300 ml is sized for adults; for under-10s, 100–150 ml as part of breakfast, not a meal replacement. Skip the fermented shots for under-12s. Check with your doctor for any conditions — the ingredient list is on the label.
Safe during pregnancy?
Most cold-pressed drinks are fine — whole produce, nothing added. Skip the fermented shots and high-ginger blends in the first trimester if you're sensitive. Full ingredient lists published. When in doubt, your doctor.
What's a wellness profile?
Each person picks one — Immunity, Energy, Gut Reset, Senior, Kids, or Custom. Bottles blend to match. Better default than 'one bottle for everyone'.
Allergens?
Each label lists every ingredient. Common in our range: citrus (lime, amla), occasional kokum. No nuts, dairy, gluten, soy. Cross-contamination risk for sesame and mustard seed in the ferment kitchen. Full allergen list on the Compliance page.
