What we get asked about — the bottle, the delivery, the ingredients

01

The bottle

The bottle — section marker
How long does a bottle last?
Three days refrigerated. Cold-pressed juice without preservatives loses nutritional value hour by hour — the short window is evidence of nothing added, not a production failure. We'd rather deliver daily than let a week-old bottle pretend it's the same thing.
Why is the shelf life only 3 days?
Because real food doesn't last. There's nothing wrong with our bottles — there's nothing in them. No pasteurisation kills the enzymes, no preservatives stop the natural fermentation. Three days refrigerated is the honest window. Most people drink theirs the morning it arrives.
What if a bottle doesn't taste right?
Tell us — WhatsApp or email. If something's off, we want to know the batch number (on the label), what was wrong, and which bottle. We'll replace it the next morning and log the batch. No argument, no form.
Is the packaging recyclable?
Yes. Glass bottles go to a certified glass recycler we partner with — leave them out on your next delivery and the rider collects them. The kraft caps are compostable. Insulated delivery bags are reused for as many runs as they'll take.

02

Delivery

Delivery — section marker
What time does delivery arrive?
Between 6:30 and 7:30 AM on your scheduled days. We aim for 7 AM on the dot but the exact minute depends on your position in the route. Production ends by 5:30 AM; your bottle leaves the kitchen chilled within the hour.
Which areas do you deliver to?
Today: Miyapur, KPHB, Madhapur, Hitech City, Manikonda, Nanakramguda, Gachibowli, Kokapet, and the corridors between them. If you're outside that zone, tell us — we track demand and open new routes when density makes it viable. We'd rather be honest about range than overpromise.
What if I'm not home for delivery?
Leave a note in the app (or WhatsApp us the evening before) with a safe spot — door mat, security desk, neighbour. The rider will photograph and log the drop. Insulated bag keeps the bottle cold for up to 90 minutes after delivery.
Can I change my delivery address?
Yes, from the app up to 10 PM the day before delivery. Permanent moves are updated in your profile — we adjust the route for the next morning's run.

03

Subscription & billing

Subscription & billing — section marker
Can I pause or cancel anytime?
Yes, from the app, no phone calls, no cancellation fee. Pause for a day, a week, or a month. Cancel any time and the unused balance in your Soma wallet is refundable to your bank account on request. No lock-in.
How does the Soma wallet work?
When you subscribe, money sits in your Soma wallet — not in a contract. Every delivery debits that balance. You can see your exact balance in the app at any time, add funds whenever you like, and request a withdrawal of the remaining balance if you ever leave. Nothing disappears.
Do unused credits expire?
No. Wallet credits don't expire. If you've paused for three months and come back, your balance is exactly where you left it. The only exception is promotional trial credits, which expire 60 days after they're issued.
Can I skip a single day?
Yes. In the app, tap the delivery you want to skip before 10 PM the previous night. The cost of that bottle rolls back into your wallet. You can also skip in advance — useful if you're travelling.

04

Ingredients & production

Ingredients & production — section marker
Are your ingredients organic or certified?
Some are certified organic; most are from small vendors at the Bowenpally wholesale market who don't hold certification but use traditional, low-chemical farming practices. We inspect every batch and publish source notes on each ingredient page. 'Certified organic' is a paper standard; knowing your vendor personally is a better one.
What does cold-pressed actually mean?
A hydraulic press squeezes juice out of produce using slow, high pressure — no heat, no blades, no oxidation spike. The result keeps more enzymes, vitamins, and phytonutrients intact than centrifugal (fast-blade) juicers. It's slower, yields less per kilo, and creates a more expensive bottle. That's the trade-off we make.
Why doesn't cold-pressed taste like bottled supermarket juice?
Supermarket juice is pasteurised (heat-treated) for a six-month shelf life, which kills the enzymes and brightens the flavour artificially. Cold-pressed is rawer, sometimes earthy, sometimes bitter. That's not a defect — that's the ingredient, unedited. It can take 2–3 mornings to adjust.

Health & safety

Health & safety — section marker
Can children drink cold-pressed drinks?
Yes, in appropriate quantities. Our 300ml bottles are designed for adults; for children under 10 we'd suggest 100–150ml as part of breakfast, not as a meal replacement. Avoid the fermented shots for under-12s. If your child has any dietary restrictions or conditions, check with your doctor — but the ingredient list is right there on the label.
Is cold-pressed juice safe during pregnancy?
Most of our cold-pressed drinks are fine during pregnancy — they're whole produce, cold-pressed, nothing added. Avoid the fermented shots and any bottles with high-ginger content if you're in the first trimester and sensitive to it. We publish full ingredient lists. When in doubt, check with your doctor.
What's a wellness profile?
When you subscribe, each person in your household picks a wellness profile — Immunity, Energy, Gut Reset, Senior, Kids, or Custom. Our bottles are blended to match that profile. It's not a personalised supplement — it's a better default starting point than 'one bottle fits all'.
Are there allergens I should know about?
Each bottle label lists every ingredient. Common allergens in our range: citrus (lime, amla), stone fruit (occasional kokum). We do not use nuts, dairy, gluten, or soy. Cross-contamination risk exists in the kitchen for sesame and mustard seed (used in some fermented shots). Full allergen list on the Compliance page.
